Founded in 1930, Mid-City Scrap Iron & Salvage Co., Inc. is a scrap metal and recycling company, engaged in buying, selling and processing scrap ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and various grades of waste paper and fiber products in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. We also process materials such as electronic scrap or e-recyclables, and materials associated with the computer.

We provide cash for scrap metal services to the public; commercial recycling programs and management services for large institutions and municipalities; and general scrap metal container and trucking services for clients of various sizes. At our state of the art processing facility we prepare these materials for domestic and export shipment via rail, truck, and container to end consumers who manufacture all types of products. We have balers, shears, mobile shears, and hydraulic cranes to handle and process metal.

Our experienced sales staff will consult with scrap generators and accounts in order to maximize the return on their material. (in other words, ensure our customers are paid top dollar)We have a fleet of roll-off containers, flatbeds, and trailers to assist in plant clean-ups, and demolition projects throughout Southern New England.
