Founded in 1938, Caraustar Recycling is a leading Paper Scrap recycling and trading company located in Austell, Georgia, United States. We are proud that all fourteen of our paperboard mills are Forest Stewardship Certified. We collect, sort and process over 4 million tons of waste paper for re-use each year.
Caraustar’s 100% recycled paperboard mills produce a broad range of uncoated grades to include Plain chip, Bending chip, Tube and core grades, White vat lined, Match Stem Board, Laminated or pasted grades, Colors – Pink, Suntan and many more, Specialty colors, colored top sheet board, Tan bending chip, FlexTan, ES Cream, ES Natural, Kraftex, Partition chip, Printer’s chip, Val-30, Low density board, High sized board, etc.
We handle all grades of recycled paper, cardboard scrap, mixed papers scrap, office paper scrap, magazines scrap and books scrap. Furthermore, Caraustar recycles a range of other household and industrial materials including plastic scrap and metals scrap.
