ABS Metal Recycling LLC was established in 2006 by Founder and CEO Shaun Barnes in Austin, TX. We started simply as a side business, but quickly transformed from a one-man scrap collecting hobby into a multi-location metal recycling business. In 2012, we opened a second location in Magnolia, Texas. We buy scrap from many commercial clients including electricians, plumbers, a/c and heating companies, contractors, and demolition companies.

We buy the ferrous scrap metal like Shreddable Materials, Carbide & Tool Steel, Stampings, Low Residual Busheling, Mixed clips, Automotive Cast, Cast Iron Boring, Steel Turnings, etc..and non ferrous scrap such as Aluminums, Coppers, Brasses, Stainless Steel, Refinery Brasses, Nickel, Turnings & Borings, Insulated Wires, Zinc/Leads, Catalytic Converters and Titanium. We will not accept any hazardous, explosive, or flammable materials.

We work off of very small margins with our customers to ensure they get the best price for their material. We pride ourselves on developing great customer relations and long term business partnerships through our knowledgeable and experienced management team.
