General Eco Tech Ltd is a scrap recycling company and PET strapping manufacturer located in Rupganj, Narayanganj, Bangladesh. Established in 2019, the company operates from a 38,582 square foot production facility and is one of the notable manufacturers of PET strapping bands in the country. With a focus on environmentally responsible operations, General Eco Tech (GET) supports the growth of Bangladesh’s plastic recycling industry. The company operates one recycling unit and employs 50 staff members, working to supply recycled products to international markets.

GET is a 100% export-oriented company with the infrastructure to support different customer needs. It has a monthly production output of 800–1000 tonnes of PET strapping and can supply up to 2000 tonnes of hot or cold-washed PET flakes. GET is currently the only company in Bangladesh manufacturing both green and brown PET strapping belts, available in roll packaging, with widths from 12mm to 25mm and thicknesses between 0.7mm and 1.1mm. The strapping is made from recycled PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), aligning with sustainable production practices.

PET strapping bands from GET are suited for rigid and heavy loads, offering good tensile strength and low elongation. They are used to secure materials such as metal, lumber, bricks, tiles, pallets of bottles, and cans. These straps are commonly used across sectors including construction, packaging, logistics, ceramics, cardboard manufacturing, and metal industries, providing a practical and rust-free alternative for load stabilization.

GET also processes and exports PET flakes in clear, green, and brown colors. These flakes are sourced, cleaned, and processed to meet quality standards required for global use. The company exports to regions such as the Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, serving manufacturers who require consistent and clean recycled plastic materials.

With a team of 50, GET works to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery. It offers flexible shipping terms including FOB (Free on Board) and CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight), and uses L/C (Letter of Credit) as the primary payment method.
