Nickel prices drop further

Prices of nickel declined further in the non-ferrous metal market on lack of industrial demand. While copper, tin, lead and aluminium moved up owing to good industrial buying support. In the local market, nickel fell by Rs.10 a kg to Rs.1,30 and zinc eased by a rupee a kg to Rs.149. However, copper wire bar rose by Rs.3 a kg to Rs.373, copper armature by Rs.2 a kg to Rs.337, copper sheets cutting by Rs.2 a kg to Rs.332, tin by Rs.2 a kg to Rs.807, aluminium ingots b y a rupee a kg to Rs.125 and lead by a rupee a kg to Rs.139.
