Malaysia tin rises $300/tonne

Kuala Lumpur, Jan. 15

The local tin market closed higher on Friday, but the trading volume dropped compared with Thursday. Tin price on the Kuala Lumpur tin market increased $300 to close at $18,200 a tonne. However, turnover reduced to 50 tonnes from 65 tonnes on Thursday.
