Metals rise on global cues

Metal prices rose moderately on the non- ferrous metal market on Monday due to increased demand from industrial users amid firming of prices in global markets. Copper armature rose by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 356. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar and copper sheets cutting moved up by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 368, Rs 362, Rs 334, Rs 396 and Rs 351 respectively. Brass utensils scrap, aluminium utensils scrap and zinc inched up by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 255, Rs 96 and Rs 139. . — PTI
