China refined copper imports up

China imported 169,374 tonnes of refined copper in October, up 31 per cent compared with the same month last year, data provided by the General Administration of Customs showed Monday. October imports were down 40 per cent from 282,828 tonnes in September. In the January-October period, imports more than doubled to 2.75 million tonnes, Customs data showed.
