Tin gains on industrial support

Prices of nickel, lead, copper and brass declined moderately on the non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday in the absence of demand from industrial users. Tin moved up on good industrial support. Nickel dropped by Rs 20 a kg to Rs 700 and lead by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 82 from Rs 87. Copper cable scrap, copper armature, copper wire bar and brass sheets cutting declined by Rs 3 a kg each to Rs 244, Rs 239, Rs 272 and Rs 182 respectively. Copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap and copper sheets cutting moved down by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 242, Rs 229 and Rs 238 respectively. Brass utensils scrap also ended slightly lower by Re 1 a kg to Rs 177. Tin rose by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 865.
