Wholesale nickel prices fell in the local market on Thursday due to poor demand from electroplating and steel units and lost another Rs 20 a kg. Nickel (4x4) prices traded lower by Rs 20 to Rs 1,055-1,200 a kg. Traders said sustained selling by stockists in the face of sluggish industrial demand, led to a further fall in the nickel prices.
