Nickel declines on global cues

Prices of nickel and copper moved down moderately in a mixed non-ferrous metal market on Thursday due to lack of industrial demand coupled with lower advices from London Metal Exchange. Nickel fell Rs 15 a kg to Rs 1,120, copper scrap heavy by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 382, copper armature by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 375, copper sheets cutting by Rs 1.50 a kg to Rs 371.50, copper cable scrap by Re 1 a kg to Rs 389, copper wire bar by Re 1 a kg to Rs 417 and lead by Re 1 a kg to Rs 105. Tin rose by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 1,170, aluminium ingots by Re 1 a kg to Rs 151 and aluminium utensils scrap by Re 1 a kg to Rs 117.
