A single purpose company formed by the DRB-HICOM Group for the privatization of the solid waste management (SWM), Alam Flora manages the Central and Eastern Regions of Malaysia covering the states of Selangor, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and the Federal Territory of Putrajaya.
Spreading its wings, Alam Flora via its MBM-Alam Flora joint venture initiative based in Bahrain commenced operations on Feb 1, 2003 .
