Hind Zinc increases metal prices

Hindustan Zinc Ltd raised metal prices to reflect an increase in global rates. The price of zinc was raised by Rs 1,400 ($35), or 1.3 per cent, to Rs 110,100 a tonne effective Feb. 23, the Udaipur, Rajasthan-based company said in an e-mailed statement. Lead prices were increased Rs 3,700, or 2.7 per cent, to Rs 142,200 a tonne, it said.
