Moderate rise in copper, brass

Prices of copper and brass rose moderately on the non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday due to good industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel firmed up by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1385, copper cable scrap by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 340, copper scrap heavy by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 336, copper armature by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 332, copper utensils scrap by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 314, copper wire bar by Rs 2 per kg Rs 368, copper sheets cutting by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 328, brass utensils scrap by Re 1 per kg to Rs 248 and brass sheets cutting by Re 1 per kg to Rs 254. Aluminium ingots eased by Re 1 per kg to Rs 120 and tin by Re 1 per kg to Rs 779.
