Citigroup forecasts nickel entering super cycle

Citigroup has raised its 2007 forecast for nickel, saying that supply constraints will keep the commodity in a “super cycle” of elevated prices. The bank has forecast that the metal will average $17.50 a pound in the first half, said San Francisco-based analysts led by Mr. John Hill in a report.
