Nickel, tin prices rise

Prices of nickel, tin and copper firmed up in the non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday owing to better industrial demand while copper utensils scrap and lead eased due to lack of industrial support. Nickel rose by Rs.10 per kg to Rs.1,375, tin by Rs.10 per kg to Rs.800, copper cable scrap by Re.1 per kg to Rs.335 and copper armature by Re.1 per kg to Rs.325. Copper utensils scrap eased by Re.1 per kg to Rs.311 and lead by Re.1 per kg to Rs.119.
