Zinc stocks at 7-month high

Zinc stockpiles tracked by the London Metal Exchange rose to the highest in more than seven months. Lead inventory also gained. Zinc inventory jumped 4,100 tonnes, or 4.8 per cent, to 89,100 tonnes, the LME said in a daily report, the highest since May 8. Lead stockpiles gained 2,250 tonnes, or 5.2 per cent, to 45,500 tonnes, the highest since June 27.
