Zinc, nickel up on demand

Prices of nickel, lead, zinc, tin, aluminium and brass moved up in the non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday on better demand from industrial users while copper eased owing to lack of industrial support. Nickel moved up by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.1,385, lead by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.122, zinc by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.127, tin by Re.1 per kg to Rs.795, aluminium ingots by Re.1 per kg to Rs.120, aluminium utensils scrap by Re.1 per kg to Rs.104 and brass utensils scrap by Re.1 per kg to Rs.246. Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and copper sheets cutting all eased by Re.1 per kg to Rs.338, Rs.365 and Rs.326 respectively.
