Further rise in metal prices

Prices of copper, zinc and lead firmed up further on the non-ferrous metal market on Friday. Nickel firmed up by Rs.10 per kg to Rs.1,360, zinc by Rs.5 per kg to Rs.125, lead by Rs.5 per kg to Rs.120, copper cable scrap by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.335, copper scrap heavy by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.330, copper armature by 4 per kg to Rs.325, copper wire bar by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.363, copper utensils scrap by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.312, copper sheets cutting by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.321 and brass utensils scrap by Re.1 per kg to Rs.245. Tin moved down by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.787.
