Mixed trend in metal

Prices of lead and zinc declined on the non-ferrous metal market here on Friday due to lack of industrial demand coupled with lower advices from London Metal Exchange. Elsewhere, tin and copper sheets cutting also moved down owing to lack of industrial support while copper moved up on good industrial enquiries amidst higher global advices. Lead fell by Rs.5 a kg to Rs.120, tin by Rs.5 per kg to Rs.795, zinc by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.132 and copper sheets cutting by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.331. Copper cable scrap rose by Rs.2 kg to Rs.342, copper scrap heavy by a rupee a kg to Rs.337, copper armature by a rupee a kg to Rs.332, copper utensils scrap by a rupee a kg to Rs.315 and copper wire bar by Re.1 a kg to Rs.370.
