Aluminium majors National Aluminium Co and Hindalco Industries Ltd have lowered their product prices by Rs.3,000 per tonne, tracking a fall in aluminium prices on the London Metal Exchange, according to company officials. “A sharp fall in LME aluminium prices compelled us to revise our rates. A further revision could be considered by the beginning of December,” said a senior company official with National Aluminium, or Nalco. Aluminium prices in the country are benchmarked against the LME rates.
