Nickel firm on global cues

Prices of nickel, tin, copper and zinc moved up moderately on the non-ferrous metal market on Monday due to sufficient demand from industrial user coupled with higher global advices. Nickel and tin both firmed up by Rs.10 per kg each to Rs,1,560 and Rs.800 respectively as against Rs.1,550 and Rs.790 previously. Copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar and copper sheets cutting moved up by Rs.4 per kg each to Rs.328, Rs.392 and Rs.352 respectively. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper armature looked up by 3 per kilo each to Rs.365, Rs.359 and Rs.354 respectively. Brass utensils scrap also ended higher by Re.1 per kg to Rs.257, brass sheets cutting by Re.1 per kg to Rs.269 and zinc by Re.1 per kg to Rs.163. Lead eased by Re.1 per kg to Rs.140 from Rs.141.
