Zinc moves up on demand

Prices of copper and zinc moved up moderately in the non-ferrous metal market on Friday on good industrial demand coupled with higher overseas advices. Copper wire bar firmed up by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.392, copper scrap heavy by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.360 and zinc by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.165. Copper cable scrap, copper armature and lead ended higher by Rs.2 per kg each to Rs.365, Rs.355 and Rs.122 respectively. Copper utensils scrap also looked up by Re.1 per kg to Rs.323. aluminium utensils scrap eased by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.105.
