Nickel stocks at 5-month high

Nickel stockpiles monitored by the London Metal Exchange rose to the highest in more than five months. Nickel inventories jumped 768 tonnes, or 2.6 per cent, to 30,600 tonnes, the LME said. That’s the highest since April 6. Zinc inventories fell 2,025 tonnes, or 3.1 per cent, to 64.150 tonnes, posting the biggest daily drop since May 9, according to the exchange data.
