Asia rubber futures gain

Asian rubber futures settled higher in light, directionless trade on Monday, with the closure of Japan’s influential markets for a public holiday damping interest, traders said. SICOM’s RSS3 contract set a new open interest record of 37,740 tonnes on Friday, breaking the previous record of 37,520 tonnes which was set on July 31, the exchange said in a press release
