Copper stocks at 2-month high

Copper stockpiles monitored by the London Metal Exchange rose to the highest in more than two months. Inventories of copper gained 1,750 tonnes, or 1.4 per cent, top 125,550 tonnes, the exchange said in a daily report. That’s the highest since June 1. Stockpiles have climbed 4.5 per cent this week, paring this year’s drop to 31 per cent.
