Nickel recovers a tad

Prices of nickel, copper and lead recovered moderately on the non-ferrous metal market on renewed industrial demand while zinc moved down due to lack of buying enquiries from industrial users. Nickel firmed up by Rs.10 a kg to Rs.1430 and copper armature by Rs.3 to Rs.341. Copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar and lead all also moved up each by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.345, Rs.314, Rs.380 and Rs.112 respectively and brass utensils scrap by a rupee to Rs.255. However, zinc declined by Rs.3 to Rs.180.
