Nickel tumbles by Rs.75 / kg

Nickel tumbled by Rs.75 per kg to Rs.1,525on the local non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday on stockists offerings, taking cue from the fall in London Metal Exchange. Copper also declined owing to lack of industrial demand coupled with lower global advices. However, tin and aluminium ingots moved up on good industrial support amidst higher LME advices. Copper armature declined by Rs.5 per kg to Rs.345, copper utensils scrap by Rs.5 per kg to Rs.315, copper sheets cutting by Rs.5 per kg to Rs.340, copper cable scrap by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.360. copper scrap heavy by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.354 and copper wire bar by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.388. Tin firmed up by Rs.10 per kg to Rs.750 and aluminium ingots by Re.1 per kg to Rs.137.
