Nickel prices fall

Prices of nickel declined sharply on the non-ferrous metal market on Tuesday on lack of industrial demand coupled with lower advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Brass, copper utensils scrap and aluminium ingots also moved down due to lack of industrial support. Nickel dropped by Rs.70 per kg to Rs.1,600 from Rs.1,670 previously, brass utensils scrap by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.255, brass sheets cutting by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.270, copper utensils scrap by Re.1 per kg to Rs.320 and aluminium ingots by Re.1 per kg to Rs.136. Copper scrap heavy moved up by Re.1 per kg to Rs.357.
