Nickel rises on overseas advices

Prices of nickel, tin and lead firmed up on the nonferrous metal market here today on good industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel hardened by Rs.35 per kg to Rs.1,670 from Rs.1,635 previously, tin by Rs.5 per kg to Rs.740, lead by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.120. Copper scrap heavy declined by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.356 from Rs.360 previously followed by copper wire bar, brass utensils scrap and brass sheets cutting all moved down by Rs.3 per kg each to Rs.390, Rs.257 and Rs.272 respectively.
