Nickel rebounds on demand

Most metals eased on the non-ferrous metal market on Friday on mild profit-taking by stockists despite firming trend overseas. Nickel recovered on fresh industrial demand. Copper utensils scraps and aluminium utensils scrap both dropped by Rs 5 a kg each to Rs 335 and Rs 82. Tin, brass sheet cutting, copper scrap heavy and copper sheet cuttings all moved down by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 948, Rs 263, Rs 358 and Rs 350 respectively. Nickel rose by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 1,050 and copper wire bar inched up by Re 1 a kg to Rs 394.
