Nickel recovers on industrial demand

Mumbai, July 9 Nickel, copper sheet cutting and brass sheet cutting recovered modestly on the non- ferrous metal market on Friday on fresh industrial demand. Nickel rose by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 1,070 and copper sheet cutting firmed up by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 354. Zinc moved up by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 110. Brass sheet cutting and copper scrap heavy both inched up by Re 1 a kg to Rs 265 and Rs 362. Copper cable scrap, copper utensils scrap and copper wire bar all edged down by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 365, Rs 340 and Rs 393 respectively. — PTI
