Unwrought aluminium stocks up

London, June 29 Western world unwrought aluminium stocks rose to 1.250 million tonnes in May compared with 1.210 million tonnes in April, industry data showed on Monday. Unwrought stocks stood at 1.401 million tonnes in May 2009, provisional data from International Aluminium Institute ( IAI) figures showed. Total aluminium smelter stocks excluding finished end- products rose to 2.339 million tonnes at the end of May from 2.268 million tonnes in April.
