Further sharp rise in metals

Prices of nickel, tin, zinc and firmed up further sharply on the non-ferrous metal market on Friday on sustained industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange(LME). Nickel strengthened by Rs.50 per kg to Rs.1,600 from Rs.1,550 previously, followed by tin by Rs.10 per kg to Rs.735 and zinc by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.189. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armature, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar and copper sheets cutting all firmed up by Rs.3 per kg each to Rs.360, Rs.356, Rs.348, Rs.320, Rs.388 and Rs.343 respectively.
