Shanghai copper stocks down 8%

Deliverable copper inventories in warehouses monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange fell 8 per cent from one week earlier, while deliverable aluminium inventories were unchanged, the exchange said on Friday. Deliverable copper inventories fell to 96,362 tonnes from 104,377 tonnes a week ago, while copper stocks on warrant declined 11,892 tonnes to 30,609 tonnes. Deliverable aluminium inventories were unchanged from one week earlier at 297,308 tonnes. Stocks on warrant fell 86 tonnes to 254,699 tonnes.
