Groundnut oil firm on demand Spot rubber prices steady

Aravindan Kottayam, Nov. 7 The physical rubber prices finished almost unchanged on Saturday. According to sources the weekend session was comparatively dull as there were no active participants on either side to set the trend. Sheet rubber finished steady at Rs 109.50 a kg consecutively for the sixth day amidst a similar mood in domestic futures on NMCE. Meanwhile ungraded rubber slipped marginally on scattered transactions. The November futures for RSS 4 closed at Rs 109.29 ( 109.77), December at Rs 111.62 ( 111.80), January at Rs 113.77 ( 113.74) and February at Rs 115.30 ( 115.44) a kg on National Multi Commodity Exchange ( NMCE). Spot rates were ( Rs/ kg): RSS- 4: 109.50 ( 109.50); RSS- 5: 104.50 ( 104.50); ungraded: 100.50 ( 101); ISNR 20: 99.50 ( 99.50) and latex 60 per cent: 70 ( 70).
