Metals firm on industrial demand

Copper and brass prices firmed up on the non-ferrous metal market on Monday on higher demand from industrial users. Zinc and tin eased on lack of buying from consumer industries. Copper sheets cutting rose by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 306. Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar moved up by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 326 and Rs 354 respectively. Copper armature, brass utensils scrap and bras sheets cutting also inched up by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 310, Rs 220 and Rs 226 respectively. Zinc and tin moved down by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 121 and Rs 843.
