Malaysia tin up $40/tonne

Kuala Lumpur, Oct. 20

The local tin market closed higher on Tuesday, and the trading volume rose compared with Monday. Tin price on the Kuala Lumpur tin market increased $40 to close at $14,670 a tonne. Meanwhile, turnover increased to 50 tonnes from 41 tonnes on Monday.
