Sharp fall in nickel

Prices of nickel declined sharply on the non-ferrous metal market on Friday on lack of industrial demand. Copper and zinc prices moved down further on poor offtake coupled with lower LME advices. Nickel dropped by Rs30 per kg to Rs2, 270 from Rs2, 300. Copper utensils scrap declined by Rs7 per kg to Rs325, copper scrap heavy by Rs5 per kg to Rs353 and copper armature by Rs5 per kg Rs345.
