Brass declines on lack of demand

Tin, copper sheets cutting, brass and aluminium prices declined moderately in a mixed non-ferrous metal market on Monday on lack of demand from industrial users. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensils and copper wire bar edged up on increased offtake from consuming industries. Tin fell by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 825. Copper sheets cutting moved down by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 297 and brass sheets cutting by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 221. Copper armature, brass utensils scrap and aluminium utensils scrap also edged down by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 302, Rs 213 and Rs 80 respectively. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap and copper wire bar looked up by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 316, Rs 310, Rs 282 and Rs 344 respectively.
