LME zinc stocks fall

Zinc stock piles monitored by the London Metal Exchange fell the most in almost 17 years. Copper inventories fell the most in more than three months. Inventories of zinc declined 4,800 tonnes, or 5.2 percent, to 86,875 tonnes, the exchange said in a daily report. That’s the largest one-day drop since August 2, 1990. LME tracked inventories of copper fell for a 16th consecutive session, by 3,675 tonnes, or 2.5 percent, to 145,700 tonnes. That’s the biggest decline since Jan19.
