Nickel dips on lack of demand

Prices of nickel copper, brass, zinc and lead declined moderately on the local non-ferrous metal market on Monday due to lack of industrial demand. Nickel dropped by Rs20 per kg to Rs2,300 from Rs2,320 previously, copper wire bar by Rs5 per kg to Rs405 and copper cable scrap by Rs4 per kg to Rs376. Copper scrap heavy moved down by Rs3 per kg to Rs367, copper armature by Rs2 per kg to Rs360, copper utensils scrap by Rs2 per kg to Rs340, copper sheets cutting by Rs2 per kg Rs349, brass utensils scrap by Rs2 per kg to Rs262, brass sheets cutting by Rs2 per kg to Rs272, zinc by Rs2 per kg to Rs204.
