Nickel prices fall moderately

Nickel prices declined moderately on the non-ferrous metal market here on Friday in the absence of demand from industrial users amid lower advices from the London Metal Exchange (LME). Most of the metals also moved down marginally. Nickel fell by Rs 13 a kg to Rs 1,012 from Rs 1,025 yesterday. Copper utensils scrap lost Rs 4 akg to Rs 284. Again, copper cable scrap, scrap heavy, wire bar, sheet cuttings, brass utensils scrap and sheets cutting, aluminium utensils, and zinc all moved down by a rupee a kg to Rs 316, Rs 311, Rs 344, Rs 300, Rs 213, Rs 219, Rs 86 and Rs 108 respectively.
