Shanghai copper, zinc stocks fall

Shanghai copper stockpiles fell for third week, declining 7.4 per cent, the Shanghai Futures Exchange said in a report on its Web site. Inventories of the metal, based on a survey of five warehouses monitored by the exchange, decreased 3,935 tonnes to 49,348 tonnes this week, according to the report. Stockpiles of aluminium gained 201 tonnes to 178,133 tonnes, based on a survey of 11 warehouses in Shanghai, Guangdong, Wuxi and Hangzhou, the exchange said. Zinc stockpiles declined 1,126 tonnes to 100,978 tonnes, based on a survey of seven warehouses in Shanghai, Guangdong and Hangzhou. Rubber inventories rose 1,898 tonnes to 48,693 tonnes, based on a survey of 10 warehouses in Shanghai, Shandong, Yunnan, Hainan and Tianjin, the exchange said.
