Metal prices rise on global cues

Metal prices recovered smartly on the non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday on the back of fresh industrial demand coupled with firming trend in London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel shot up by Rs 17 a kg to Rs 752. Copper cable scrap, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar and tin rose by Rs 3 a kg each to Rs 273, Rs 251, Rs 301 and Rs 838 respectively.
