Metals decline on global cues

Nickel, copper, brass and aluminium prices declined on the non-ferrous metal market on Monday on lack of demand from industrial users coupled with lower advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Tin and lead moved up on industrial demand. Nickel dropped by Rs 8 a kg to Rs 745. Copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap, copper sheets cutting and brass utensils scrap fell by Rs 3 a kg each to Rs 268, Rs 249, Rs 260 and Rs 194 respectively. Copper cable scrap, copper armature, copper wire bar and brass sheets cutting moved down by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 272, Rs 264, Rs 300 and Rs 200 respectively. Aluminium utensils scrap also eased by Re 1 a kg to Rs 74. Tin moved up by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 845 and lead also looked up by Re 1 a kg to Rs 88.
