Sharp decline in metal prices

Prices of copper, nickel, tin and brass declined sharply on the non-ferrous metal market on Friday on stockists offerings on the back of lower advices from London Metal Exchange (LME). Copper cable scrap dropped by 17 per kg to Rs355, copper scrap heavy by Rs16 per kg to Rs348, nickel by Rs20 per kg to Rs2280, copper armeture by Rs12 per kg to Rs388, copper utensils scrap by Rs6 per kg to Rs325, copper sheets cutting by Rs6 per kg to Rs347, tin by Rs5 per kg to 760, brass utensils scrap by Rs5 per kg Rs255, brass sheets cutting by Rs5 per kg to Rs265 and zinc by Re1 to Rs194 per kg.
