Aluminium inventories decline

Aluminium inventories shrank to 2.59 million tonnes in April, from a revised 2.74 million tonnes a month earlier, the International Aluminium Institute said. Stockpiles of unwrought aluminium, or metal not processed into products, fell to 1.42 million tonnes, from a revised 1.54 million tonnes in March, the IAI said on its Web site.
