Nickel, zinc firm on demand

Prices of lead, brass sheets, nickel, zinc, aluminium and copper wire bar firmed up moderately in a mixed non-ferrous metal market on Monday due to good industrial demand. Copper and brass utensils eased on poor industrial support. Lead rose by Rs 6 a kg to Rs 93 and brass sheets cutting by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 205. Nickel and zinc moved up by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 695 and Rs 94 respectively. Copper wire bar and aluminium utensils scrap also ended slightly higher by Re 1 a kg to Rs 294 and Rs 81 respectively. Copper cable scrap, copper utensils scrap and brass utensils scrap eased by Re 1 a kg to Rs 266, Rs 247 and Rs 196 respectively.
