Hind Zinc cuts products prices

Hindustan Zinc Ltd lowered the prices of zinc and lead to match global rates. The price of zinc was lowered by 3 per cent to Rs 88,400 ($1,766) a tonne, the Udaipur, Rajasthan-based company said on its Web site. Lead, which the company also produces, was cut by 2.5 per cent to Rs 89,100 a tonne. Hindustan Zinc usually revises prices every Thursday and Saturday.
